AB - In early-2023, the Goldman School began research to assess policy options to decarbonize ocean-going vessel operations, complementing our earlier work on emissions from port operations. We started with a survey of policy developments affecting GHG and air pollution emissions from OGVs. The accompanying spreadsheet lists major policy developments in recent years and forms the basis for this narrative.4
