CO₂

A CO₂-dominant stream captured from either:

  • an industrial point source and used primarily as a carbon dioxide feedstock (e.g., for methanol or e-fuels). Examples: flue gas CO₂ from power plants, cement kilns, ethanol fermentation. Do not confuse with Industrial process gases, which contain CO, H₂, or hydrocarbons.
  • ambient air through direct air capture or equivalent technologies. Examples: DAC-captured CO₂ streams.

Marine Energy Documents Related to CO₂

FATHOMS is a knowledge hub that hosts documents and resources about maritime iofuels, creating the foundation for a AI-powered research assistant. The table below contains all of the documents in the FATHOMS Knowledge Base associated with CO₂.
